Midori Solo 1 Person Tent is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Home in the wild Of the tents tested (Amari Pass vs Midori) this one is my favorite because of the combination of light weight and ease of setup combined with space, particularly in the vestibule. Pockets inside the tent are great for quick organization of essential items, even with quick setup/teardown on the go. Floor of tent performs excellent in wet ground conditions. Used in backcountry ski & MTB setting, from high alpine Cascades to wet Appalachian forest to hot desert southwest. Performs best in terms of anti-wind flapping of any tent I’ve used in backcountry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Tent I have used the Midori solo extensively now, and I like the tent very much; I would like to relay some of my impressions. These impressions were gained using the tent over the past 1.5 years camping with college students in geological field trips. 1. The tent is generally very good. It is very strong, wind-resistant, and the fly is reasonably rain-proof. Overall I am satisfied with it. 2. The detachable hanging dual pocket is not terribly useful. Because the of the tightness of the interior, It is generally in the way, and redundant with the pockets built into the walls (which are excellent). It is hard to put things into (one generally “misses” and puts things behind the entire pouch, which means that putting them in must be re-attempted) and it is easy to knock off of its hanging (because things are not unexpectedly tight in the tent). 3. The small ancillary post at the apex of the fly is not revolutionary, it is unnecessary. The fly works perfectly well without it, a fact that I discovered when a student tripped over mine in the dark and it punched through the fly. Now it sticks up (since there is no obvious way to reattach it) and its only function is to get in the way when I am packing the tent. I suggest redesign of the feature. Otherwise, a perfectly fine tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick Setup My 12 year old daughter was looking for a serious one person tent that she could take on hiking trips with me. She saved for over a year and decided to purchase the Midori. The day it arrived she immediately set it up and fell in love with it. We have some spring trips planned and i am confident that my daughter will be warm, dry and most of all happy. Thank you, Eureka.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got more than I expected I’ve had this tent for three years now. It’s been on many backcountry trips and has performed well beyond my expectations. It has kept me dry in the rain (I did seam seal it) and vented well on hot humid nights. Although a little heavy for it’s size, it performs as well as tents costing 3 or 4 times as much. Well done Eureka!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tent for Bikepacking Adventures I've used the Midori Solo1 tent this year for backpacking adventures and it has been great. Easy to set up, sturdy, waterproof and the vestibule provides loads of space for all my gear. Bang for the buck this tent is awesome :)

What is included in the minimum weight of 3 lbs 10 oz? How much does this tent weight with the tent, rainfly, poles, stakes and associated bags?

Asked by: Pineapple
The minimum trail weight includes three things: Tent body, tent poles, and tent fly. Nothing else is included in that weight. The previous answer stated that it included everything but the stakes, but personally weighing all the parts of my tent proves this isn't the case. The minimum weight does not include the stakes, the guy lines, the gear loft, accessory bag, or the tent's stuff sack. If you include EVERYTHING the tent's weight is 4.22 pounds, and add in the separate footprint and the weight is 4.61 lbs. All that said... awesome tent!!

This is just a wonderment since I'm receiving Midori Solo soon... exciting. It's just that the name on the sample tent above says "Amari Pass" when I believe, it's supposed to be "Midori Solo"? I hope so... Excited to receive mine soon.
