Overview

Short Description:
Camping that isn't cramping. In our humble opinion, the industry’s standard definition of a 2 & 4 person tent footprint is too damn small. For Freecountry Camping, we think that’s cramping, not camping. We’re happy to introduce an upgrade to your standard room. Everyone needs plenty of elbow room and headspace, especially if you’re logging some tent time in the rain. Our Suite Dream series provides unprecedented roominess for you, your friends and all your stuff!

Suite Dream 4 Person Tent is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spacious interior I picked this up recently as an alternative to my old Timberline, and have taken it out once with with the family for a couple of nights so far. The spouse was impressed with how much room it had inside. The tent has several pockets and shelves inside for storing small items off the floor.. I docked a star because: * I'd like the carry bag to be a bit more substantial. While it's probably actually fine, it feels like the carrying strap ought to just rip away from the bag under its weight. * The instructions could be a bit more detailed and include some diagrams. The instructions are forced onto a single sheet of paper using a small font, etc.. After you've put it together once, you should be fine, but you probably want to do it the first time on a nice afternoon when you're not in a hurry. I've figured out some of the undocumented features, but there may still be more to discover.

Hi, can you tell me the weight? I see the number for minimal weight but not sure about the meaning. Does the weight include the footprint?

Asked by: jovo

Great answers - I do have poles for the front fly to set up as an awning. Will need it to already have the grommets - are these in place for me? Regarding limited space in 2nd vestibule - can 1 bike slip in? Using for 1 bike, firewood, fishing rod - OK?

Asked by: RenéeCamps
Hello :) Thank you for your continuing interest in the Suite Dream 4! There are 2 grommets in place at the front of the fly for you to create an awning. The rear vestibule is separated into two smaller compartments at 3sq ft each. One has access via the rear door and the other is accessible underneath the fly. The fishing rod and the firewood may work but the space may be too limited to include your bike. Please let us know if there is any way that we may be able to assist your further.

I need a tent that I can put up by myself, has 2 vestibules, a rain fly I can setup as an awning, and a height I can stand up in at 5’2”. Is this possible with this tent? So far I’m wondering about set up with just two hands. Critical for me.

Asked by: RenéeCamps
This tent is capable of being put up by one person however if your looking to make the front vestibule an awning it isn't set up that way and you would need extra/separate poles the back vestibule is also not large so don't count on it for space. However the tent is spacious and is very nice and tall.

Do both doors roll down to the bottom?  Are there toggle cords to stow it out of the way and prevent it from laying on the ground?  Is it possible to unzip partially and fit through?

Asked by: Drennyn
Hello :) Thank you for reaching out and also for the provided answer! We currently have this tent set up in our office, she's a beauty! The main door rolls down to the bottom center, there is an inside pocket where you could tuck in the fabric to keep it from laying on the floor. The smaller door on the rear does not have a pocket or toggles but unzips to the bottom and lays to the left hand side. You are able to gain access with a partial zip. The outer vestibule doors have do have the toggle system. I hope this helps you out with your decision!

can you tell me the dimension of the actual sleeping area of the suite dream four person tent. the info states 110" X 110". That would mean it is 12100 square inches or 84 square feet. Again the description says it is 76.4 square feet. Whats up?

If the floor dimensions are 9 ft 2 in. x 9 ft 2 in then why is the floor area 76.4 sq ft.? Shouldn't the area be at least 81 sq ft.?
