California Assembly Bill 1200 Disclosure

Eureka! is committed to complying with all laws applicable to our products. California’s Assembly Bill 1200 requires manufacturers of listed cookware products to make certain disclosures about their products based on whether certain chemicals are intentionally added to the cookware's food contact surfaces and handles.

The disclosure requirement of AB 1200 is found in the California Health & Safety Code beginning at Section 109010. Beginning January 1, 2023, manufacturers of cookware are required to disclose on their websites the presence in cookware products of intentionally added chemicals which are on the California DTSC Candidate Chemical List, and beginning January 1, 2024, manufacturers must include that disclosure on product labels.

"Cookware" as defined in AB 1200 means items used to prepare, dispense, or store food, foodstuffs, or beverages: pot, pans, skillets, grills, baking sheets, baking molds, trays, bowls and cooking utensils.

"Intentionally added" means that the manufacturer has intentionally added the chemical to the product and the chemical has a functional or technical effect in the product.

Below you will find such chemical disclosures for our Eureka! products. The presence of these chemicals does not connote that our cookware products pose any health risk when used as instructed or intended.
